I just had a strange experience in the Clifton Park.  I walk my dogs in the park every morning.  This morning a man, about 60, jogged past me in what looked like briefs (black with a white band).  I was thinking about it and the more I thought about it the more I realized that this man was jogging in his UNDERWEAR!  I saw him again jog down Clifton Ave and then into the park.  From behind some trees he wiped himself off with towel and then proceeded to PUT ON regular running shorts!  I was infuriated so I approached him and not caring if I sounded rude, asked him if what I saw was correct.  He said it was. HE WAS JOGGING THROUGH OUR WONDERFUL NEIGHBORHOOD IN HIS UNDERWEAR!  OH, AND THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME HE HAD DONE IT.  He told me.  Well, I let him have it!  I ripped him up one side and down the other.  I told him that it was not appropriate and that if I ever saw him doing it again that I would CALL THE POLICE!!!  The time of the incident was about 9am.  I'm pretty sure there may have been children in the play area of the park at this time of the morning.  If anyone sees this man doing this again please confront him or call the police.  Oh, and he told me that he lives on Marmaduke.

Can you describe him? We've experienced some bizarre behavior from a man about that age who we've seen in the park as well as walking around our block - sometimes in skimpy jogging attire.

He was 55-60 years old, about 5'9" give or take, gray hair, the shorts he put on after his odd run were a yellow colored running short which I would describe as "skimpy".  When I confronted him he wanted to tell me that he was living in between two homes on Marmaduke and that running in regular shorts is too "binding" around the tops of his legs because he wanted to run with a "higher leg lift".  I just told him there is no excuse when the shorts he was putting on in the park were flimsy and loose enough to run in.  It was very strange.

Thanks for the description. It doesn't quite match the description of the odd fellow that we've seen (same age range, blondish hair), but we'll continue to be on the lookout for joggers behaving strangely nonetheless.

It might help if we knew the time he normally jogs and if we can get some pictures for the Police.

I wish I would have had my phone with me that morning.  I would have called the police then.  I have been taking it with me since then.
